About Medyfi

A revenue cycle management firm serving independent physician practices across the United States.

The firm

Large-group discipline, independent-practice focus

Medyfi is a revenue cycle management firm serving independent and small-group physician practices. Behind every engagement sits a full-scale billing operation: specialists in charge entry, coding review, payment posting, accounts receivable, appeals, and credentialing, organized into dedicated account teams and backed by the controls and reconciliation discipline that high claim volume demands.

Independent practices rarely get that standard of work. The large RCM vendors reserve their strongest teams for their largest accounts; smaller practices are routed to a queue, worked when convenient, and reported to in formats built for the vendor's convenience rather than the owner's understanding. The economics of those firms make this inevitable. Ours are built to prevent it.

Medyfi deliberately keeps each account team's roster small relative to its capacity. Every engagement is staffed with a team that knows the practice's payers, specialty, and history, and every number we report reconciles to the practice's bank deposits. We would rather serve fewer practices to a high standard than many to an average one.

How we operate

Principles the firm is run on

01

A limited roster, by design

We cap the number of practices each team serves. Capacity is added ahead of clients, never behind them, so service quality does not degrade as the firm grows.

02

Dedicated teams, not queues

The same people work your account every day. Continuity is how payer knowledge, specialty coding conventions, and practice-specific judgment accumulate.

03

Written procedures for everything

Every recurring task, from charge entry through appeals, runs on a documented procedure with a defined cadence and a named owner. Nothing depends on memory.

04

Numbers that tie out

Reported collections reconcile to bank deposits, not to estimates or posting totals. If a figure in your report cannot be traced to a remit, it does not appear in your report.

05

Compliance as infrastructure

The HIPAA program, business associate agreements, workforce training, and exclusion screening are standing operations of the firm, not accommodations made per client.

06

Candor over retention

If your current billing operation is sound, we will say so. If a problem is ours, the report says so plainly. Long engagements are earned with straight answers.
